NUCP Level III Online Exam

As part of the new structure of the new National Umpire Certification Program, a Level 3 clinic will only be operated every 3 years.  The next available clinic for Level 3 will be in mid to late September 2019.  In years where a Level 3 clinic is not being offered, umpires will be required to take the Level 3 exam online to maintain certification.

Cost of taking the exam is $95.00 and can be paid through the website with any major credit card. Your $95.00 annual fee will include the Level 3 clinic fee for the September 2019 clinic. If you are unable to attend the clinic, registration cost is still $95.00 in order to be registered as a level 3 umpire within Baseball Alberta.

You must receive permission from Baseball Alberta or the Provincial Supervisor of Umpires, Brandon Strocki, before you can take the NUCP Level 3 online exam.

How to Register for the Level 3 Online Exam

Follow these steps to register and take the Level 3 Online Exam:

Step 1	Go to umpire.baseball.ca
Step 2	Click the "REGISTER NOW" button
Step 3	Complete your personal information for your profile
Step 4	Select "REGISTER" for the Level 3 Exam
Step 5	Once you have registered, the Baseball Alberta office must approve you to take the exam, this may take up to 2 business days to confirm your ability to take the exam
